We absolutely love Sushi Para II and go a few times a month! The fish is fresh, there’s a great selection of sushi and appetizers, and the service is always super attentive and friendly. The price is excellent and we’ve never been disappointed. This place always puts a smile on our face and we look forward to our visits here.

It’s the place that I fall in love with sushi ! There all you can eat used to be involving more of there signature rolls! But it’s still really good quality and for the price it’s amazing

It has been a long time since I visited Sushi Para (Palatine) for its AYCE menu, so this was my first visit at the Lincoln Park location (Sushi Para II). One thing that you will notice with the appetizers, nigiri and maki rolls is that they are all made to order. The appetizers was tasty and flavorful. The seaweed salad was a generous portion. The nigiri was fresh but I would not choose the crab next time since its really imitation crab (surimi). The white tuna nigiri is very fresh and the shrimp tempura roll was hot and prepared well. Worth the AYCE price (lunch) for the quality of food. A solid 4.3 stars!!

Our server was very friendly, patient when we asked questions, and made sure we had everything we needed without rushing us through the experience. They really seem to understand that this isn’t just a meal—it’s something to be enjoyed. The ambiance is casual and comfortable, great for a date night, family meal, or even a small group celebration. It’s not overly fancy, but it’s clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated with subtle Japanese touches. Parking is easy, and the location is convenient if you’re anywhere in the northwest suburbs. Also worth mentioning is the value. At around $30 per person for all-you-can-eat, this place delivers serious bang for your buck, especially considering the quality of the food. It’s also great that they’re consistent—the food and service don’t vary from one visit to another. In short, Sushi Para 2 is one of our go-to spots when we’re craving sushi. Delicious, reliable, and affordable—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend it to anyone in the area or even worth a little drive. Just come hungry and ready to enjoy!

I recently visited Sushi Para II and tried their all-you-can-eat sushi, and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered about 10-15 different types of sushi, and every single one was fresh and flavorful. The variety gave us a great chance to try lots of options, and the quality was consistently impressive. I’ve been here before, and it looks like they’ve remodeled since my last visit — the space feels more modern and inviting now, which definitely adds to the experience. We came here for their AYCE Lunch special, which was only $22 per person. They had tons of rolls to choose from. The service was amazing and our food came out incredibly fast. For AYCE, it was good. The sushi was fresh and the rolls were decent. It wasn't amazing sushi and I wouldn't come here if not for the AYCE deal. I wouldn't recommend their spicy tuna roll, it tastes like tuna straight out of the can. Their Crunch roll was pretty good, without the cream cheese. EDIT: After giving this place a second chance, I have to say their sushi is indeed amazing. It really depends on what you get, but their salmon and tuna nigiri were really good. They do go heavy on the rice, so you'll fill up pretty quickly, but the fish itself was delicious. So glad I came back here again and will definitely be back again soon. I would recommend coming for their dinner time slots, since they have more rolls available. The World Series and Angel Roll were my two favorites!
